| Bio: | i'll try to say it in a nutshell: i am a dedicated SAHM to 3 kids ages 10 (fairy queen), 4(princess of the pee), and 2(little prince charming). i run a home daycare which has just gotten the way i want it recently with 3 clients, 2 f/t, one of whom is struggling with CP, and one who is almost full time (minus 3 days a month). i am a bad housekeeper, very disorganised and i distress and dwell on that a lot. i used to sell gemstone bead jewellery and aromatherapy jewellery but my herbal tea business has taken over that and now i'm known in my area as "the tea lady". i have been going to the local farmers markets for years and got my first retail seller in december 07. it's a natural/organic/local shop just around the corner from my house so i can kick one of the kids outta the stroller (make 'em walk) and bring them down a re-stock box of tea jars on our morning walk. i love my neighborhood, (even tho it's getting a bit too trendy and busy...i've loved this area since 1989) my city and my country. i'm very patriotic yet very peace loving. i wish with all my heart and soul that the ancient and barbaric practice of war would cease but i am also proud of our country making a stand against social injustice where we can.(afganistan?) i have reiki master level, i work with gemstones (not often lately, i'm busy), i study herbalism extensively, and am into food as medicine/healing. all life is a spiritual journey, and my karma seems to be almost instant i've noticed so i have to be careful. i'm not perfect, i have work to do, and sometimes i suffer. i also rejoice and revel in my gratitude. being a libra, i am very sociable, very chatty, very thought-ful (not mindful enough), and sometimes flirtateous. i am creative, interested in creative lifestyles and "alternative" stuff but i live, and feel comfortable as a conservative thinker. my political direction depends upon the representatives and i hope for all that is good and just. as my children grow, i would like to become more schooled in healing, nutrition, herbalism, and ultimately work to help people in balancing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. for now and forever i am still learning and working on balancing these for myself. when all my children (mine and my own community of children around me) have grown it may be time for me to share all that collected wisdom. so being beyond maiden, fully into mother, and looking forward to crone. i am pagan and enjoy celebrating the sabbats and connecting with earth. my journal is really the download of my brain but i do look to my lj community for reflection, entertainment, verbal intercourse, education, vicarious experience and comraderie. i thank my lj freinds for politeness and respect without censorship. | |||||
